The atmosphere was serene, and the outdoor onsen experience was truly a highlight, allowing for relaxation with natural surroundings. Meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors, particularly the fresh seafood, which made dining a treat. However, the location was somewhat isolated, making it a challenge to explore without relying on the limited shuttle service. Additionally, the bathroom facilities felt dated, which detracted from the overall experience.

The garden view was enchanting
Onishiya Suishoen offered a unique glimpse into traditional Japanese culture. The serene garden views from my room felt like an art piece, and the onsen experience was truly rejuvenating. The staff was incredibly kind, catering to both my language barriers and dietary needs, making me feel at home.
Although a free shuttle service was available, the limited hours occasionally hindered night outings.

We had an awesome time at the ryokan with friends! The private onsen was relaxing, and the meals were an absolute highlight, especially the Tajima beef. We also loved visiting Kazurano Beach and Kumihama Country Club for some fun activities. The staff were super helpful, and the free shuttle made getting around easy.
One downside was the limited shuttle service, as it doesn't run in the morning. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to town, which was a bit inconvenient at times.

The Japanese-Style Room was spacious and quiet, with a lovely view of the garden. I slept on futons which were surprisingly comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom felt a bit dated, but it didn't take away from the overall charm. The attention to detail in the room decor added a nice retro vibe to the experience.
